    The Peluche Raised Outdoor Dog Cot (Version 2 ) is designed to last. This is one tough outdoor dog Cot.  This bed has been designed so that all edges of the mat are attached to the inside of the PVC frame.  This prevents the dog from chewing on the mat.  No chew guards needed.  Great for outdoors or indoors, UV resistant, unaffected by salts, and excellent resistance to mildew. This makes a great outdoor dog bed!

Chew Resistant:  

 

     This dog bed helps prevents dogs from chewing on it.  The mat material edges are covered by the PVC frame.  This prevents the dog from chewing on the material.

Fabric Options 

  • Standard Mat Material: Vinyl coated PVC mesh. Allows water to pass through it. Six months chew warranty.
  • Ballistic Nylon: Very durable fabric with a fine finish that won't catch hair.  Water will puddle on this fabric. One Year chew warranty.
  •  35 Oz Vinyl (Harder to put together): Our most durable fabric. Recommended for dogs that tend to dig or scratch their beds. But, please be aware that even this fabric can be scratched thru.

  • Assemble required: Most people report the bed is simple to put together. We like to say is about a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. Give your self about an hour for the first bed and 20 min for every extra bed. It will also take medium strength because the fabric needs to fit tight. If you have a medical conditions like sever arthritis you may need help with assemble. You will need a Philips head screw driver and a pair of pliers. It is worth the effort.
  • All beds are made in the USA with majority of parts made in the USA.

Oh my bleeding finger!
The bed is certainly sturdy once assembled but unless you have a gorilla around the house to lend a hand its a b!tch to put together. Everything is a supertight fit and needs to be put together just right. The bolts that come with it are just too short - I have a pet peeve about manufacturers who save a few cents on a product by skimping on the hardware, just 1/4 inch longer would have been great. 5 stars for the 1 star for the ease of assembly

Well built steady bed. Good design for chew resistant features. However time will tell. Mat seems to be durable for large dogs. Larger than size quoted wouldn't fit where we had anticipated putting it.

Dog Cot
This cot is holding up well, considering my dogs are big chewers. They really enjoy laying on it in the sun.

Chew Resistant Elevated Outdoor Dog Bed
I love this! My Old English Sheepdog got right up on it as soon as my husband put it together. I am so glad to have a dog bed for her that she can't make look terrible. She was using a chaise lounge and had scratched up the pad. This is much better. And my little dogs like it also. And we have had rain now for 6 weeks, so I know it dries out quickly. No smell either. Thank you for designing this.

Nice product
The bed is very nice. It was simple to put together but that last corner piece can be tricky so you have to be careful not to break it. They say the rain passes right through this material which is the reason I chose this product over another but I have not found this to be true. However, once you pour the rain off the surface it does dry quickly. I have seen my dog on this bed once or twice but generally he seems to prefer just sprawling out on the deck.

REPLY: Thanks for your feedback. We have done many tests and rain does in fact pass through this fabric. We have placed both are bed and another bed made with Cordura fabric out in the rain. After the rain had passed the Cordura bed had a large puddle built up. Are bed had small layer of rain water. Similar to what you would find on any surface after rain. After a complete day of no rain. The Cordura bed still had a puddle of water. Our bed was dry with in hours of sun light. That is the main difference. Our fabric will allow water to pass, it is not water proof like the widely used Cordura and Ballistic Nylons.
